<p>You and your dog can safely enjoy your yard with the Premier Pet In-Ground Fence. The underground wire that's included with this dog fence will cover up to 1/3 of an acre.</p> <p><br /> You can expand your in-ground fence up to a total of 5 acres using additional wire from the Premier Pet Wire and Flag Expansion Set (GRFA-500). This will allow you to customize your entire yard, a partial area of your yard, and exclude keep-away zones such as gardens and pools.</p> <p><strong>How it Works</strong><br /> The electric dog fence works by sending a signal from the transmitter that's inside of your home to the receiver collar.&nbsp; When your dog approaches the underground wire while wearing the collar, it will issue a warning tone to remind him/her to turn around.</p> <p><br /> If your dog continues towards the wire, the collar will deliver a static correction at the level you choose that works best for your dogs' temperament.
