After reading a few reviews I must say I'm really firming on the Paterson products having found great enjoyment from their Standard Mixture and Nightcap also. After a fairly disappointing time with the Borkum Riff Original tobacco this has been possibly my favourite so far. No tongue bite no problem packing the 965 and a consistency throughout the entire bowl. I live in a semi-tropical climate where it's too hot to smoke heavy English style tobaccos for fully half the year. 965 is a good compromise in my opinion. It has enough strength and body to be satisfying and can be a good contemplative smoke if you want that. I had heard of this blend from Alan Harellson at The Pipe Cottage and it blew me away. I always have several bowls of this while working my cattle on the farm. This is some really good pipe tobacco. It's a nice, smooth smoke.
