Hoya latifolia 'Pot of gold' is a variegated variety of Hoya latifolia G.Don, an endangered epiphytic climber that is native to Myanmar to West Malaysia . Formerly it was known under its synonym name; Hoya macrophylla 'Pot of gold'. This is a really beautifully variegated plant with streaks of cream colour running along the midrib while still showing some contrasting venation.;The genus was named in Modern Latin in honor of English gardener and botanist Thomas Hoy (c. 1750-1822).
