⭐︎ABOUT THE ART & ARTIST: My name is Pattie Horwitz, and I am a self-taught contemporary artist living in Chicago and working out of my home studio. Up until recently, I’ve been a very "buttoned-up" artist, and I’m giddy that my entire body of work is now evolving into a more expressive, mature style. I push myself to practice new techniques every time I paint.
Each of my paintings take anywhere between 10-25 hours to complete and due to a severe case of rheumatoid arthritis––primarily settled in my hands––I typically paint in 2-to-3-hour increments. I am inspired by the most vivid colors in nature, because why CAN'T we live in a more colorful world? This archival giclee print is as beautiful and precise as the original painting, and it’s a wonderful option if you desire an original piece but it’s sold out.
