10 Yards of Random Reclaimed Elastic, Grab Bag, from Upcycled Clothing, Recycled elastic, Mystery Box, mixed lot, Reused stretch bands
If you want a particular type of elastic, please message me. I cannot promise I will have any particular type of elastic in stock, I will do my best to accommodate.
Each order is different, so what you see not might exactly be what you get. The elastic is salvaged from reclaimed clothing, so each order comes in a variety of widths and sizes.
They are sold in batches, and are anywhere from half an inch wide to 2 inches wide. It can also be from 6 inches long to several feet or even yards long. But they will add up to 10 yeards.
The elastic is usually white, but you may get elastic that is black, dark blue, or even patterned and brightly colored. Some might have buttonholes sewn in them like shown in the images. Most do not. If you want a particular type of elastic, please message me
There may also be some discolored elastic, and that is fine! Most elastic used in projects will be under a layer of fabric, and will hence never be seen. Even if it is seen, it can actually give a project some character! These can be used to match stretch pants, skirts, wrist bands, headbands, face masks, sleep masks, and more!
As a result of the fast fashion industry, a lot of perfectly good materials are tossed out. This includes elastic, which is still perfectly usable and stretchy. So there is no need to purchase this new when you can help the environment by purchasing reclaimed elastic.
You can also use these to make face masks! There are plenty of tutorials on YouTube about how to cut them into thinner strips, making them perfect for face masks, scrunchies, and more!
