During my upcycling process, I take apart a lot of beaded materials. This includes everything from broken jewelry, beaded clothing, or even beads that were donated to me from people destashing.
These beads have all been salvaged from being tossed in the landfill, which reduces their overall climate impact as opposed to buying craft supplies new.
These are all glass or ceramic beads, and can be used to make jewelry, kids crafts, or decorate crafts and clothing! Since they are reclaimed, they are a lot more eco-friendly than buying art and crafting supplies new. Stone beads also have less of an impact than plastic.
