Bronze spiral earrings. Sterling silver DNA Earrings, Bronze helix earrings, corkscrew earrings

Helix shaped minimalist threader earrings made of bronze. The double spiral of DNA inspired this style. To make one of these earrings I first hammered the end of the helix flat, then bent the helix shape. Finally, I created the hook and curved the end to make it an integral part of the design. If you'd like to keep its shiny rose gold colour, simply pop the earrings in a bit of vinegar for a few minutes. Then rinse with water and pat it dry.
