Jack O Lantern- Hand Dyed Assigned color pooling Yarn - lace fingering worsted dk bulky - glows in black light - black florescent orange

A formatted list of our (regularly offered) yarn bases is available on our website at: https://bluebarnfiber.com/pages/our-yarn-bases This listing is for one skein of yarn. This yarn is custom dyed to order so you can choose your base (see extremely important announcement below this paragraph or on our home page announcement regarding moving time frame update in September 2023). By default, our yarn will come to you in a skein and you will need to wind it into a ball or cake before using it. We will not offer ball winding service during our move, but will offer it again later after we are settled. Important: please buy everything you need for your project at once so I can do my best to ensure the yarn matches well. We have several colorways that will not be identical even if dyed at the same time, so we recommend alternating skeins if matching is a concern. I cannot stress enough how important this is. PLEASE READ THIS! 2023: We are moving from Idaho to North Carolina to be close to a special clinic for our daughter. Starting September 1st, 2023, I will not be able to dye any new yarn orders (all orders placed before 9/1 WILL be dyed and sent before I pack it up), as I’m packing up my dye equipment and driving 2600 miles. Once we get to NC, we will be in a temporary housing situation while we get to know the area and house hunt. I’ll begin working right away, but might be a bit slower than normal without a proper dye setup. I will *not* be closing our shop during this time, but I’ll likely be deactivating a few of the more difficult to dye colorways. Furthermore, all incoming orders for dyed to order yarn will be looked at as pre-orders with an 8 week shipping time frame to give us time to travel and get caught up on orders (I do not expect it to actually take this long, but I’d rather not put too much pressure on myself during this extremely stressful transition). ******. If you want your yarn right away, please don’t order dyed-to-order. I will be offering ready to ship yarn from our ready to ship section (on Etsy only) before we move and likely after as well so that we’ll have at least some yarn that can go out right away. Thanks for understanding! Updates will also be posted on our instagram at https://www.instagram.com/bluebarnfiber/ . Current BASES AVAILABLE: Squishy Sock - 85/15 Ultra fine SW Merino/Nylon, 4 ply, 437 yards per 100g - This is our favorite basic go-to: soft but strong sock yarn - a jack of all trades. Can literally be used for anything. Fingering/sock weight. Pearl DK - 100% SW Merino high twist 2-ply, 246 yards - We're obsessed with this base! The ultra tight twist looks like a strand of pearls and it takes the dye beautifully. Bouncy DK - 100% Ultra Fine (19 micron) SW Merino 3-ply, 246 yards. Another DK base that we are in love with. This base Is round and exactly like the name suggests, ultra bouncy! The 3-ply nature of this yarn makes it a great choice for DK weight socks, but it is incredibly soft and will work for almost any project. Chubby Worsted - 100% ultra fine SW Merino 4-ply, 219 yards Bases that are available by special request are noted on our main website. ___ Care: Superwash wool is special because it is treated in such a way that it will not felt the way normal wool does, so your stitches will remain crisp and your finished work won’t shrink. As with all hand dyed items, we recommend hand washing your yarn/finished item in cool water and laying it flat to dry. We rinse this yarn until the water runs crystal clear, but small amounts of excess dye may rarely come off with the first couple of washings. If this happens, rest assured that if it happens, it is only excess dye and should not affect the coloring of your yarn in any way. If a large amount of bleeding ever occurs with any of our items, please contact us so we can make it right. We always recommend hand washing handmade items to preserve the longevity of your beautiful work. We recommend using cool water an
