Up-Cycled Canvas Firewood Carrier | Log Sling | Wood Holder | Canvas Log Carrier | Made in USA The Moonrise Project puts the sustainability message of Diamond Brand Gear into action. The fabric for our American Boro and Rescue series was originally destined for the landfill before we found it and re-purposed it into something new and beautiful! All of the items in our Scout collection are made with up-cycled canvas cut from old Boy Scout tents. We receive these decommissioned canvas tents from scout camps across the country as part of our exchange program. We then wash the tents and turn the up-cycled canvas into new gear. In exchange for their old tents, the scout camps receive credit that they can use towards new wall tents and/or items from our Scout collection. Every item from the Scout collection that we sell keeps usable material out of the landfill, and helps to fulfill our mission of circularity and waste reduction. This durable firewood carrier is made with our up-cycled washed tent canvas and features full length military spec webbing straps for added support of heavy loads. All stitching is made with durable nylon thread. ~Measurements~ Width: 18" Height (closed): 21” Please note that because Scout item are made with up-cycled tent fabric, slight variations in color will occur. We got our start in a small, defunct hosiery mill that quickly turned into a thriving factory. When the textile industry began to offshore their facilities, we made it our mission to revive the art of sewing and keep production in the USA.
