COWBOY BOOT LAMP, Child's Novelty Lamp, Western Lamp, Vintage 1950s

Wow! From the 1950s a child's novelty lamp made from a cowboy boot...AND...the lampshade has a translucent herd of horses scene on one side. The pottery boot looks a lot like Frankoma pottery. I have also seen McCoy pottery boot lamps, but those are usually two cowboy boots. The boot sits on a rectangular piece of oak. The lamp works thread up through the cowboy boot. The cord comes out of the back of the oak base. There is a rust colored bolo with a silver slide wrapped around the boot. The clip on shade is so cool...on one side is the translucent horse herd scene, the other side is textured like burlap. The shade has whip stitch leather trim. Measures 13-1/2" tall, and 7" wide and deep. The boot is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. The oak wood base is worn to an uneven finish from age. The shade is fragile. The translucent horse scene has worn at the top, but please check out the pictures with the lamp on to see that there is still a lot to enjoy! Cord is in very good working condition.
