The Medusa's Head Cactus is one of the strangest plants you will ever see. A green head with green, snakelike branches for hair. The hair is covered with tiny, bright yellow flowers much of the spring. It becomes green and grows longer offshoots during the hotter summer months. It grows 2 to 3 inches high and spreads 12 to 16 inches in diameter. The contour of this cactus makes it a very interesting plant either alone or as a focal point. Very drought tolerant. Create your own terrarium or centerpiece using ever-popular succulents.
