Wooden Hmong Rice Spoon | Hmong Engraved Spoon

This listing is for one wooden rice spoon featuring Hmong motifs beautifully engraved in the handles. Chose from 3 different designs, which will be engraved on both the front and back sides of the handles. These rice spoons are functional and lightweight and each spoon will vary in look due to the different striations of the wood. They measure approx. 8.5 inches from top to bottom and the widest part of the bowl of the spoon measures approx. 2.5 inches with the height measuring approx. 3.5 inches. These make a great addition to your kitchen, adding a little touch of the Hmong culture to an every day item! They also make a great gift for a friend or family member - something a little different to give them this year! These spoons are made from a Japanese oak and the color may vary - sometimes showing a red hue in the wood. To care for them, soak in warm water to help loosen rice or other sticky substance before cleaning with a soft sponge.
