Derry Maine Postcard - Stephen King IT collectible book lover unique gift idea bookmark art print

Derry Maine Postcard - Stephen King IT collectible book lover unique gift idea bookmark art print

Postcard inspired by Stephen King's fictional town of Derry, Maine. Though the location is most known as the setting for King's novel IT, several other of his works take place there as well, including: INSOMNIA, BAG OF BONES, DREAMCATCHER, 11/22/63, FAIR EXTENSION, and the short story "The Road Virus Heads North" from the collection EVERYTHING'S EVENTUAL. No matter which of these books you love, this postcard would make for a great collector's item as it references known Derry landmarks, but no one book in particular. These landmarks include: Main Street with Freese's Department Store, the Derry Town House, the Kissing Bridge, the Standpipe, and the statue of Paul Bunyan, all set against a beautiful background depicting the Penobscot River. All of InkTree's postcards are made with high-resolution image files printed on 100-lb cover cardstock. After printing, both sides of the postcard are sealed with a lightweight protective sealant that makes the postcards moisture and UV resistant, yet still easy to write on. While it's not recommended you go swimming with them or leave them out in the desert sun, they will definitely hold up to a trip through the mail in humid weather or years spent in a picture frame hanging in a sunny room. This would make for a great addition to any King collection, or a gift for another fan, or even something to send from a secret admirer...including a haiku for the recipient, perhaps. • Designed using Photoshop techniques based on old methods of the famous Curt Teich postcard era of the 1930's–1950's • Size: 4" x 6" / 10.16 cm x 15.24 cm • Both linen and smooth texture formats are printed on 100-lb cover cardstock • Sealed on both sides for moisture and UV resistance, but still easy to write on • Will ship inside durable rigid envelope
