Beautiful sturdy Floral patterned, half round by 1 inch wide brass is soldered atop a tube which holds a very smooth, round, sturdy, high quality elastic made to last and last. Plated with a thick anti-tarnishing sterling silver or copper, oxidized to bring out the intricate detail, hand satined and lacquered to insure it will never tarnish. No special care is required. Amazingly lightweight . Works perfectly on normal to the thickest of hair usually with a single loop. Makes a terrific scarf holder, see pics. No twisting necessary on material with substance or texture. Your choice of three different satin ox finishes Brass ox or Copper Ox or Sterling Silver Ox HINT: Slip it on your hair first in the proper position, then twist the elastic from underneath your pony and loop over your hair. If you feel you need to tighten it more, take it off, slip it back on, and then do a "double twist" or even a "triple twist" underneath your pony before you loop over your hair. You DO NOT need to make a new full loop. Just adding a second or third twist before you loop over your hair will take up the slack and make it nice and tight for those girls with thinner or silky hair.
